Competitors at the highest levels of both long and short range benchrest are finding that some of their high end scopes are not holding point of aim from shot to shot. This problem is not limited to a particular manufacturer, model, vintage or price range. Test two identical scope models and one may move, while the other does not. Furthermore, scopes can and will fail over time. The only way to have 100% confidence in your equipment is to test it periodically.
Our Picatinny Scope Checker is unique in that, in many cases, it allows you to test your optic without removing it from the rifle. For those that cannot (or choose not to), it comes with a second rail section. Once installed, it can be used as a conventional checker. It will fit both Mil Spec 1913 rails and those found on the popular Kelbly Panda F-Class (with their "Picatinny" option).
